Very friendly and easy going guy. Billy is very knowledgeable about the river. He made sure to let us know what to do , and what not to do when canoeing. His prices are very reasonable. You can tell that billy really enjoys what he does and that it is not just a business for him. If you are reading this review do yourself a favor and just go. :)
Billy was awesome. We decided to come out on a whim and didn't make a reservation (totally our fault). He still set us up and got us in kayaks with no problem. He's a great guy. He even made sure we got where we were going after safely. OH and most importantly, the views were AMAZING! Such a beautiful area. Next time I'm around I will be heading back here!
Beautiful scenery, and best prices in Chattanooga. We rented canoes for the day but only used them for a couple of hours, and owner very kindly offered to let us come back on another day. Road is quite long and windy getting there, but it’s definitely worth the trip for the scenery and the quiet!
WOW! Our pricing was for ALL DAY RENTAL! You cant beat that! The owner was friendly, polite, and very willing to give instructions and tips as needed. All materials were supplied, including life jackets. It was so peaceful kayaking by the beautiful mountains and entertaining as fish kept jumping over our kayaks! I would highly recommend for a day out on the river! We can't wait to go again! :D
We had a great time here! When we arrived they were very helpful to get us settled in the kayaks and made sure we knew what we were doing. He even made sure we knew that if we got out too far and just called him that he would come out and pick us up if we didn't want to paddle back. Highly recommend this place. We checked other places that we're $35 an hour. It's worth the 45 drive from downtown in order to get the kayak at $35 for the entire day! I was very impressed!
